Herb Gathering at Innisfree Farm Botanical Garden
A huge thanks to Joseph Forest for this lovely write up about Omega Nutrition at this years Herb Gathering event.
The June 9 – 11 weekend marked the third in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. Innisfree Botanical Garden is an organic farm and education center, and this year’s theme for the Herb Gathering was Plant Medicine for the Future.
Between 1100 and 1200 meals were served from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch, and the event was a huge success according to the organizers. The food played an enormous part in making the event successful. In order to accommodate all of the specialty diets, the menu was mostly vegan, however, fillet of West Coast salmon was served for dinner on Saturday.
Omega Nutrition played a central role as a primary sponsor for the event. A generous donation of culinary and therapeutic oils was incorporated into every meal. In addition, an assortment of oils was available on the condiment table for participants to drizzle over their food. Folks lined up at every meal throughout the weekend to help themselves to the high-quality, flavorful, nutritious oils.
Thank you Robert Gaffney, Rosalyn O’Connor, and the rest of the staff at Omega Nutrition for your contribution in making the 2017 Herb Gathering a success. Grace and blessings on all your endeavors.
